Hey all,
Currently when I apply a new UV map to a face selection, my texture gets replaced with an automatically-generated black-and-white checker texture.
This sucks. How do I turn this off?

Hi,Please once check Edit Polygons > Texture > Assign Shader to Each Projection.I think you've kept this menu check on.Turn off this menu option, no textrue are assigned automatically to your any uv sets.
