Hello all
Im a newbie to all this just as of a couple days ago. Our teacher got a hold of XSI and hes telling some of us in the class to learn it without the use of the books he got. Right now im stuck on how to use shaders at all. I don't know how the render tree works at all or how to minipulate the shaders one bit.
I saw the FF Ghost Shader on the site the other day and tried playing with that to see if i could use it and also the X-Ray shader. Im totally stuck here. Could anyone please help me with this. Step-By-Step instructions would be great or if you could lead me to a tutorial somewhere that would be great too.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply im checkin out the sites right now. Since some of my friends and I do everything to fast for him he told us to use this program with just the web or what ever materials we could find as our recorces. In other words he's trying to slow us down, but it isn't going to work.
I'm Still having problems figuring out this shader. Has anyone used this shader on any project?? If so could you tell me how to use it. This would be greatful.
ThanksDan J. Teresinski
Ok DeathMan this is very simple, I just made a test with the shader to make sure it works.

Here is the instructions that came with the shader:

Thanks again Bernard. I'm just so new to this its confussing to start with. Since I learn by doing the real complex type stuff first it takes less time to learn the program witch is what I want.
Thanks againDan Teresinski
