hi, i'm still very very new in maya 5. i plan to use maya for my project but the problem is i don't much about maya. my project is about human artery system in which i need to model the whole system in 3d and must show how the blood flow in the artery together with its rate of flow. and one more thing, the rate of the blood flow must be based on the calculation using some formula and the input must be supplied by the user. i need a lot of advice from you all... i need to know what should i know and where could i get those knowledge/skill. please reply me ASAP... thank you
it sounds like the main things you'll need to focus on is nurbs modeling, dynamics (or advanced shading depending on how detailed the blood is), and MEL. A good place to start is first go through the Instant maya, in the maya help file, then check out the help file specifically for those 4 topics.

do you mean that i could perform calculation based on the user's input in maya?.. and is it possible for me to itegrate maya with flash?
