I need a big hand.
last week i installed maya 4.0 after a format and i saw that i had some problems creating surfaces.
First :every time i try to create a surface from the "surfaces" menu ,i have no errors but no surfaces apears,i tried to push 5 to switch to shaded mode but nothing apens.
LOFT : loft -ch 1 -u 1 -c 0 -ar 1 -d 3 -ss 1 -rn 0 -po 0 -rsn true "curve2" "curve1";
Planar:planarSrf -ch 1 -d 3 -ko 0 -tol 0.01 -rn 0 -po 0 "curve1";
Extrude:extrude -ch true -rn false -po 0 -et 2 -ucp 0 -fpt 1 -upn 1 -rotation 0 -scale 1 -rsp 1 "curve3" "curve2" ;
Square:squareSurface -ch 1 -po 0 -ept 0.01 -cfc 5 -ct1 1 -ct2 1 -ct3 1 -ct4 1 -rc1 0 -rc2 0 -rc3 0 -rc4 0 "curve3" "curve2" "curve1" "curve4";
Second:when i try to revolve a surface i find this:
Error: Revolve: Failed on the selected objects. ( objects ?! )
i always select ONE curve and then push the revolve button in the shelf .
I tried to change some parametrs in the revolve option , but the error is always the same.
P.S.
i tried all curves , from pencils to arcs, but nothing apens.
