I messed up my orthographic views?

this is probably really simple, but I cant find it.

I think I clicked something, but now when I blow up my front and side views, I see nothing. Trying to zoom in or out does not help, choosing look at selected does nothing.

Any idea what I did? Or even better, how to fix it?

you might just make a new ortho view..also the [ and ] keys take you to previous setting sof your current camera

I tried the [ and ] keys, but nothing. Would I just create a new camera and delete the old one? I've compared the settings of these two with the top camera, which is still normal, and I can't find any differences, other than the rotation of course.

how might I reset all of the settings? It seems like an annoyance to make new cameras every time I create a new scene of project.

Ok trying to remeber how the dafault maya wievport menus look like... Aaargh!

Ok anyway theres a menu called predefined bookmarks in the view menu (or some of its submenu, cant remember my maya doesent realy look like this anymore) choose form there to reset or set another view. For that camera.

Also ive noticed that using the [ ] or many other preset keys only realy work on a american keyboard. Why o why cant aw get in their head that my keyboard while mostly the same inst realy the same. I mean theres 3 keys on it i cant even bind because maya insists that theres no such key.

predefined bookmarks didnt work, neither did creating a new camera. what did I do?

Hi: I had a similar problem a few days ago, and it nearly drove me crazy!! Guess what, it's not a problem with your Maya settings, it could be your graphic card problem! If you have uploaded your graphic card drivers recently (best would be to disable auto update features - most of the new updates suck!!), then roll back your drivers, re-install the previous version of your driver where everything seemed to work, and get back to Maya. Trust me, this could be your problem. Good luck!
