Ok, so I'm setting up the IK for the legs right now, and I'm having a problem.

I've created the skeleton, and the first IKRPsolver for the thigh->ankle joint chain, but when I go to make an IKSCsolver for the ankle->ball_of_the_foot joint chain... It always ends up fliping my ball_of_the_foot join, so that it is pointing down and in.

Does anybody know what is dong this? I tried turning Joint Orient on and off in the channel control. I tried remaking the joints in question. The options for the IKSCsolver have solver and snap enabled, and Priority, Weight, and POWeight all set to 1.

When you made the bones for the leg, did you give the knee a slight bend?
With the knee having a slight bend in it before you add the ik, it let's the ik know which way is the preferred way for that joint to bend.

Yeah, the knees have a slight, forward bend to them. And all the joints in the IK stay put, it's just the ankle joint flips all the joints after the IK handle down and in... Making the foot point down and in.

Jessec,

I'm having the same problem did you ever find the solution to this question?
