Yes, Even if i get some 8-bit CGI images, which develops banding during color correction and blur operations, i applied Grain ( size and density "0.2" and "0.2", seed "0" ) this is the only solution i know for now to solve the banding in the 8 bit cgi. it works very well i have solved banding in so many scs.

i dont know, if you get banding by blurring only something is weird (blurring usually hides banding)..
if you get banding in gradients when color correcting the cgi then most likely the original renders are 8bit only and the only thing i can think of is re-render it or add noise.
but if you want better advice, you should post a frame and a sample script.
