Well you dont realy even deserve an answer. Honestly if you realy looked at the help documentation you couldnt have missed it. I mean they point you to the right direction in the first page that opens up.
People arent realy ridiculing anyone, but rather reciting facts of life. The forums build on certain unmutabe facts, they are crowded with people who are here to solve problems. And in general our biggest problem is peoples unability to read even simplest instructions.
Like you yourself said you didnt know shake shipped with manuals, in fact you didnt know photoshop did either. You learned something far more valuable than importing files too. Sorry we are rough around edges, so what (its like asking how to repair your moped in a bad biker bar, if you play with their rules they might help you otherwise probably not).
The unmutable facts are:
1) People dont like to help people who cant help themselves, ie if you cant read this basic stuff in the manual then you cant take the next step either. No point in wasting your time.
2) Nothing is free, you must devote time in it. But the moment someone helps you its most often their feeling that its their responsibility to make you understand it. And quite frankly your not there yet.
3) You arent entitled an answer. The fact that you get one is a fluke or rather because somone feels your aswer is a just one. Just getting an answer is usualy a sign that you have been noticed by your peers, even if its just rtfm (read the [censored] manual).
4) Dont asume you understand the answer, in fact a simple read the manual is usualy a realy good answer.
But just in case you still happen to be there: Read the first tutorial it explains all in minute detail. I mean you cant miss it.
