Importing Only Odds, Rendering Doubles

Hi.

Is there a way to import only the odd or even frames of your footage?

And then is there a way to render so that every frame is duplicated? So you get frame 1 twice but it's padded as 1 and 2, etc.

Working on some classical animation clean up...

use the timeX node then put a expression in the new time node.

something like

floor(time/2+0.5)

yo may need to adjust it a bit if your first frame is 0 and not 1

However another question entirely is why dont you let the codec know that your doing 12 fps instead (it makes the same thing but better!)

i would probably use the timing tab in the filein node..
like two fileins with different first frame, then use a simple speed->nearest or remap->step() function depending on what you need.
