I am new here, but i want to say that i am happy to see that MAYA supports scripting. I'm still figuring out, what the possibilities are. I'm used to program in the language called Processing
i want to import vrml files to a enviroment and rotate them around a circle 360 degrees. I'm working with 851 vrml files and want to categorize them and view them in Processing or Flash.
Another question i want to ask is if there are possibilities with XML databases.
I hope someone could push me in the right direction
