It 'looks' good, more complete than in progress but change the color and add a light so we can see what we're looking at,it's too dark.

That looks neat, kinda reminds me of xavier from the x-men =) Can you do a side and front shot too? From what I can see, it looks pretty good atm, all you really need to do is maybe smooth it out a bit and add detail. BTW, what method did you use to make the head?

i put another picture the head a little modified up. Its
just a screen cap of all four views from maya.
I used polygons then converted to subdivision surfaces to create the head.

thank you for your input.

whoa, from the front, it looks like Patrick Stewart =) with a shorter forhead of course hehe. Nice job, do you find that making the nose (especially the nostrils) more difficult with poly's?

Ahh!Now that's better. The guy as I said before is really great man.Keep up the good work.Oh,when you finish it,you know textures body ect post a few pics,I am curious to see what you'll make him.

Dude, overall, good job! Your side profile is fantastic! Very realistic, but assuming thats what you are going for (photorealism) then you might want to work on certain areas that become apparent in your front view, specifically issues of proportion:
Your mouth seems a bit to wide as does your nose. To tighten it up a bit, remember that the corners of the mouth should typically stop right underneath the pupils of the eyes (center of the eyes), and the side edges of the nostrils should stop just underneath the innermost corners of the eyes (tear ducts). Tweak those areas, and your model will be that much closer to achieving realism. Keep it up man!

thanks for the suggestions
