After almost a year and a half departure from 3D modeling, I've gotten a healthy dose of inspiration and have started a new model.

My vacation to Atlantic City during New Years found me taking a side trip to Philadelphia. I hadn't been there for well over a decade, and it was nice to return. I've always loved old English style architecture, and Philly abounds in it. And the one building most visitors usually come across is Independence Hall. I think as a kid I never really appreciated it like I should, but this time, I made sure to really soak it all in. After leaving with my dozens of photographs, I thought that it would really make for a great model. And now that I'm back, I think it's time to dive in.

The next step is the incredibly detailed ornamentation surrounding the lower half of each clock. Just one of a number of complexities for this project. But I press on!!
