I've been working on a long sequence for a parachute for most of the afternoon - I was happy with the general ambient motion of the cloth as the parachute's gliding, but wanted to concentrate on the part of the sequence where the skydiver hits "turbulence". After waiting for the sim to get to 300 frames into the sequence for the turbulence a few times, I decided to just set the initial frame 300 frames into the sequence and changed the nucleus start frame to 300. Everything worked great and I've got a look I like.
My current problem is that when I clear the initial frame and set the nucleus start frame back to 0, the ncloth ISN'T going back to where the dynamic constraints are. Instead, it's acting as if there's an "offset" to the parachute - it's staying where I had set the initial state 300 frames in, and moves from there. My expectation was that when I clicked play, the cloth would detect that the dynamic constraints were way over there and "snap" the simulation.
Did I do something wrong? Is there something I can do to fix this?
