I was wondering if there is a way to convert instanced geometry to "real" (editable) geometry. I modeled 5 different rocks and "dropped" them from a particle emitter onto the ground plane. This saved alot of time and it actually looks good but the problem is that now I want to go and selct some of the rocks that were generated (instanced) from the emitter and delete/edit some of them but I cant select them because they are instanced, so, I downloaded bonus tools and tried the ol' "convert instance" tool but nothing happens. We just want to use the particle emitter to genrate the rocks for us to give us a random result while saving time...we could care less about retaining the instance/particle shtuff. Any help/suggestions on any of theis would be greatly appreciated.
