Keys on Timeline

hello experienced users of XSI
I have been using Maya so far and now my company has decided to switch to XSI... I'm just going through tutorials and am stuck on something I cannot cope with.

I would like to display keys on the timeline, the way they are in Maya. Of course I can switch to depesheet- but then i won't see the frame numbers. As a character animator with years of work behind me I'm used to working fast and the vision of switching between the dopesheet and the timeline thousands times a day basically scares me off. Have you got any solution to this drastic problem?...

hi dora,

did you try to change the layout,maybe adding the
dope-sheet to your existing layout will help you but only
timeline with visuell feedback of keys is not possible ;( .
by the way maybe i understood you but my dopesheet
displays also the timeline (3.5.1.1 and4.0)
