I'm looking for any feedback on two specific laptop models - the first is a Toshiba Satellite Pro and the second is an HP Omnibook 6100; I've read earlier posts and am just looking to see if anyone has used either of these models, and if anyone has any specific likes/dislikes about either.
I've used a Toshiba satellite before - it was a Satellite Pro 4300 with a PIII 650 and 32 MB of RAM; It wasn't a workstation by any stretch but it was a decent machine for what it was. No apparent issues with Maya 3.0.
Any thoughts or other recommendations? The HP 6100 has a Radeon M6-P graphics card with 16 MB of video ram, the toshiba has something similar.
