I was experimenting a bit about getting characters to squash a bit. It would seem handy to get the control I needed by taking a figure fully setup via, IK, flexors, etc. and throw a lattice around the character group to get some subtle deformations that I may need later on.
After trying this out a mess of double transformation ensues...but I was wondering if anyone else had any sucess of having a lattice effect a group of objects with various other lattices? [flexors, etc].
Right now I'm working around it by replacing the flexors and the other lattices altogether by using blendshapes set driven by the joints.
It would seem handy if not mathmatically impossible to be able to have a lattice influce a group of other lattices.
