Layout question (2)

I am trying to get the bar at the bottom (the animation preview bar) to come back, how do I do this? All i have is my mouse button status, but not the playback control.

ok, so if i 'autohide' my start bar area item, it shoes up. . . .and i know that they say to run xsi in 12something by 10 something, and i am, but is there any way to have my window shrink up so to speak, so i don't have to have my start bar area autohide all the time, just to access the playback function of the program?

You can edit your layout this way: reduce the height of the cells (the "areas" where you set the views) so all the content fits in your screen. This works here.

ok, I put that one on. . . .1280x1024 'fixed playback' one, but when i either drag and drop to install, or go file - add new - install. . .it doesn't seem to work, it gives a few warnings about overwrighting things, which i accept, but it does not change anything. What am i doing wrong?

scratch that, i found it in the drop down menu. . . .what i also found out, is my monitor is going dead to. . .in the upper left. now. . .i'm pissed. . .everything is turning green. just my luck. Thanks for the web site.
