Learning lightwave for dummies! ( w/ no $)

HI,
I am a soph in high school and was wondering how I can learn lightwave cheapand most importantly easy! I'm serious when i mean '...for dummies' I have spent hours of frustration in Lightwave and still can only make the shape of a circle and box...thats all!

Order Newtek's demo CD. I got it and so far, everything seems pretty good. Very thorough docs and lotsa good online tutes as well.

Never assume.

I have ordered Newteks Demo and already have their 7.0 demo of Lightwave. My main worry though is how to use it. I have no clue what any of the '3d' terms mean or how to make anything. Where did you find the tutorials?

Start by getting the Lightwave 7 manual in pdf form.
Next read it, it's a pretty good manual.

lightwave has a lot of books out. If you're over 165 , hell, you should have a job, if you're in high School, you have probably have no real bills..i don;tknow.. so save 50 bucks and buy on of those NEWRIDERS books. I hear those are good.

But ..the PDF sounds the best idea.
