Legit Companies Posting Links

This stock image company has been posting messages with links to the website. I've been un-approving the articles because they are running a commercial website and I sent the author a message directing him to contact Will about advertising or news article. He said he's tried to make contact but has not gotten a response.

Jon Stoddard, who is now handling our advertising followed up with him and had exchanged 5 emails with him. Giving him options and asking him what he would like to do. He never followed on with that. It sounds like he is just trying to spam the forums. I am having Jon follow up again with him today.

I figured as much.. just for future reference what should I say to somebody who doesn't know the difference between spamming and press releases

I'll follow up with Jon in the future to make sure I'm not getting a load of BS when somebody says they heard nothing back.

Also I was wondering is it okay for a company to post about something they are giving away for free.. for example stock art companies giving away free downloads of their materials or are we only allowing non profit companie sto advertise themselves in the forums?
