the ears need a lot of work, there's a strange seam where the nose and cheeks meet that shouldn't be there... some of the seams do look wierd, but in a way they could work as some sort of skin wrinkles... except for the one of the nose and cheek...
the skin in the front of the nose, where the hole begins, is way too skinny for me... i dunno...
i like the headgear, and i like his costume... and i think this character has great potential... it just needs a bit more of work...
btw, how long did it took u to do patch... ? when i was practicin with patch, it took me too long i got sick of it... i tried subd's, and it worked great for me...
Well theres definatly improvment from your older works. It looks like your getting the hang of the nurbs, definalty the way to go. Fromt he front, the brow looks too pronownced, You shoudl model the mouth, and really the whole face in a nutral pose. Like right now the mouth is ipen. The lips are too thin, give them some defination. while the nose has a great over all shape, you should work on the nostril a bit, smooth them out some. He needs a cheek bone, just pull it out a bit. do the eyelids rest on the eye? There is a lot of potential for this model, you just need to work it out a bit more, take your time. heres a sweet trick for working with nurbs. if your using patches then you should have made those patches from curves. you got hte four sides curves to make the patches from, by intersecting and cutting curves. If when you cut these curves, you leave on the option to keep the original curve, you can then edit the original curve (the whole, uncut one) and the cut curve moves with it, moving the two edges of the patch. (follow me?) this is great because it allowes you to aline the patches easily, before attaching them, so it makes for smoother patches.
