Linux_blast not working anymore

Hello everyone,
I have been using linux_blast.mel for some time noe on kubuntu.
I have upgraded to karmic and now the script doesnt seem to work at all while in the script editor it nsays it is encoding and finished it doesnt save any file.

Can anyone help please, I dont have any quick way to preview lipsync animations.

Right I have been fiddling with the script for a few hours and when I disable the remove temp files options it does give me a file sequence and a sound file which I can use,kind of.

So the problem seems to be in encoding section, some parameters maybe changed in the new mencoder version I guess.

If someone with the know-how can have a look at these it will be a great help.
