Well, no but the thing is you asked for best. Bestis not a defined metric, theres lot to consider here.
Imean theres the efficenceyt point of virew and then theres the whats possible point of view. Now any blur that can blur based on pixelmap fed channel amount on a per pixel basis is going to be pretty good. How that blur is calclulated depends on your needs a hexagonal blur can be okay as can many others.
Thing is that while a gaussian or sinc will give you a pretty good blur for defocus on normal objects but it wont behave all thet well on blooming objects.
