Hi all! This is my first post here and I just wanted get some crits on an M1 Tank that I've been building for past two months.
Though this is my first time posting here, this is not my first 3D model ever. I've actually graduated from SCAD a little over a month ago and have been attempting to build a better portfolio and develop new reel material that will help me out with getting a job.
Anyhow, there's a lot of work that still needs be done, and as of now I'd say the modeling is about 65-70% done, texturing at about 5% and rigging around 10% (only thing that's set up are the treads).
Here's a nice side/back/top view. You'll note that the back of the hull is currently lacking in detail at the moment. I hope to change that with future updates.

Here's a great top/front view showing off turret and foward hull detailing with the exposed tread belt.

A cool side view of the Abrams. Eventually I'll get rid of that dull lambert shader with some good UV texture maps.

Here's a dead-on front view with the camera raised a bit. Notice the same texture on the pads for the treads. Eventually those will be replaced with a few texture maps for more variety.

Oh and just a side note, this beast is currently just under 450,000 polygons. The reason it's so high is because I want my tank to withstand closeups of the hull, wheels, treads, turret, etc.
