I deleted the solver also, then created the new garment, made my constraints and - BANG - absolutely nothing happened. But I found a workaround for that , pretty awkward and time consuming, but it worked. I created the garment, pure without collision and constraints, let it solve for some frames, interrupted the sim, deleted cache, created the collision object, sim again, interruped, deleted cache, made the first constraint, solved, interupted, deleted.... you get my meaning. At last, my animation is now complete, but it took me 10 hours yesterday only to convince my garment to solve as it is supposed to do.... sigh...
