Mac OS X.2 CPU usage in Render to RAM preview mode

Hi all,
I'm running C2.1 on a DP 1GHz with 1.5 Gb RAM, I have a CPU monitor utility in my toolbar that shows a %/% usage of my dual CPU's. When I render to RAM for a preview mode, it always maxes out only ONE CPU,while the other sits at 0%... is this just another fabulous benefit of working on the Mac, or am I missing something?

ensure that use multi-processing is turned on in the preferences menu

Hi, thanks for the response, and yes multi-processing is turned on. So far I have only noticed it when I use the render to RAM preview mode.

The single CPU usage is only on (1) tutorial file... it only happens on the one clip. Weird. Anyway, thanks for the feed back. And will C2 automate a paintbrush (clone to mask out a wire for example) over time if tracked to a travelling matte?

If you track a brush stroke to an image, provided you have the padlock unlocked then it should refresh accordingly.

If you are asking for a filter called write-on, commonly used for writing signatures etc then no.

You can animate the brush strokes and keyframe the control pointsd of the brush stroke by hand or by tracking the background...
