Make Scriptedpanel Persistent

hi

i know that his post already exists, but there was no answer to it.

how - except with a scriptjop or eval command - is it possible to make a selfcreated panel persistent in maya. so when i close maya and start it again, i don't have to load it manually or set up a scriptjop.
may now somebody knows a solution for this.

thx for reading

Yes call the mel in userSetup.mel

yes .. this is a way to do it.

but i need it to be available without an entry in the userSetup.mel

may this is something which the maya coders didn't thinkg off?

Well tahts indeed the way it was meant for you to do it. But yes you can just take any one startup script and copy it to your local scripts folder (NEVER EVER CHANGE STUFF IN THE FACTORYSCRIPTS FOLDERS!!!!) and append call to yoru mel there. It does the same thing.

Just in case you want to be

ok .. i'll try this out ..

thanks for your proposal!
