Mandriva 2008 Maya 8.5 Or 2008 Install Problem

Hello

I've upgraded to Mandriva 2008.
Now I'm unable to install maya 8.5 or 2008.
I get "Incompatible architecture for rpm [/media/cdrom/Maya/linux/Maya-8.5-111.i686.rpm]"

Any ideas or solutions?

What type of processor/kernel are you running. take a look at the output of command:

uname -a

Maya runs on Intel P4 and above, AMD Athon64/Opteron family processors. The i686 is the clue here.

into /etc/rpm/platform
