do any of you guys have any good links where i could download some free materials or alphas for zbrush?

If you have access to photoshop or similiar program, you can make your own or use existing images from the web. All you need is a grayscale image of the pattern you want. Adjust contrast levels, blur here, blur there, viola! Your own custom alpha for ZBrush
