Is it a shortcoming of XSI or am I missing something...? When I import complex scene (in obj format) into XSI every object gets it's own material.
For example: all walls previously (I'm importing from Maya) had one brick material assigned and after importing to XSI every wall now has its own one (with the same settings as original). I know that in XSI I can group all walls and assign one material to the new group - but when scene is complex selecting thousands of objects and grouping them is rather a tedius and frustrating hobby... Please help! Do you know any workaround?
