If what you are looking for is a reflection map, then try this out:
In the render tree: Nodes>Environment>Spherical Mapping. Plug this node into your Materials environment slot. Make sure that your material type is reflective.
Render.
Your object will now reflect the NoIcon pic. (Just like in max.)
To make it render faster, change the reflection mode of your material type from "Raytracing Enable" to "Environment Only"
To change the reflecting image, just double click the NoIcon attached to the Spherical Mapping shader and chose a different image.
