Hello everybody,
This is probably a stupid question and I'm sorry if this is not the proper place to post it, but I would really apreciate some help. I'm trying out Maya 2010 on my company's computer but I can't get old scripts I use in Maya 2008 to work. I use a lot quickGI-v1.0-.mel which creates a spotlight dome, is there a way to make it work on Maya 2010?
It works fine in Maya 2010 on Mac OS X. I downloaded it, loaded it in the script editor, executed it. Typed quickGI; dragged that up on a shelf, clicked on the shelf button.
Hi Michiel
I was typing "quickGI-v1.0-" instead of "quickGI" (lame..)
Thanks for the help!
a word of thumb...if you are to use Modeling the Human Head DVD with Kevin Hudson from The Gnomon Workshop, the info wont work on IMAC. they say its too old.
also, where do you find 2010 scripts???? thanks
