Hello,
at first, i tried to look this theme here as I believe I am not the only one who is having this problem but couldn't find it.
I have "viewing" problems with Maya 2011 ( Macbook Pro, Mac os 10.6.4 ).
When older version of Maya was installed I could:
a - open attribute editor in separate window and close it ( by pressing ctrl a ) or minimize it to dock
b - it was possible to put all separate windows ( attribute editor, hypershade, etc..) to dock and bring them to front when needed.
Until I really wanted to use those windows, they stood put in dock.
BUT NOW:
a: When I press ctr a, attribute editor comes in action but after I am done and press ctr a again...nothing happens and it stays in front.
I wasn't even able to find a way to minimize the attribute editor window to dock.
b: All windows, when minimized to dock jump to front when i click to use some other software.
For example: hypershade is minimzed and than, when I click to use finder to watch for some textures etc., this window jumps forward and the only way to get into finder is to close it.
I am not sure if I wrote it right so you would understand my frustration:) But it is actually pretty annoying to me.
Please can you help me to fox this problem so all windows would stay in dock when I need to ?
Also some help with attribute editor behavior would be appreciated
Thank you gyus, Peter
