I am dissatisfied with the Maya 6 contour render. It seems very limited and I am not able to achieve the desired results. Either it strokes out too many edges or too few...
In Maya 5, I used this toon shader,

It rocked... however, in Maya 6 it tends to stroke out the wireframes also, which doesn't look good at all. I have also tried the final toon shader from this site, but it doesn't work either...
Have anyone here had any success with the Maya 6 build-in contour render? Or does anyone know where I can get a fully working shader network for creating decently cel-shaded animations with outlines?
