how is work without any ethernet card ?what am I do?

it would be far cheaper to just get a ethernet card. You can get one as low as 20 bucks USD I think.

I have got ethernet card now..
but I don't want to attach on motherboard.
to many cards slow down pc..
other ways?

What version of Maya do you have? Too many cards slow your computer down?

Nope buy a dongle...as far as too many cards slowing down the pc.. eh... that doesn't sound right at all.

Node Locked License: Keyed to a specific MAC Address provided by your Ethernet card or on board Ethernet chip.

Floating License: Ability to float (transfer) the license to more than one workstation. Beneficial for those running multiple machines (ie: studio or user with workstation and laptop).

Hardware Dongle: Dongle is attached to end user workstation or laptop which is keyed to Maya. If the end user upgraded their system or experiences system hardware failure then Maya can be installed on another machine with the dongle. Last I recall Alias sells the dongle for $150.00 (USD).

ok the proper fix for this would be install a virtual ethenet card, here's how:

go to control panel--> add hardware
select add a network adapter, go to the hardware list,
scroll to "microsoft" and pick "Microsoft Loopback Adapter"
DONE!

now you have a virtual ethernet card w/ a MAC number!
