Maya And Nvidia Quadro Fx 1500, Compatible?

hello,
Has anyone tried using Nvidia Quadro FX 1500? this particular graphics card is not listed on the Maya certifitication page, but would it be ok to use this, since it's Quadro series? i'm trying to upgrade from my Geforce 7300, which really sucks.

fyi: i'm using maya 7, winXP, and Dell XPS.

Do you uderstand what the difference in priiicce is consisting of? Its niot directly performance. Its driver support for 4 tiems the rpice of a consumer card,.

So the top of the line consumer card is the same card as the top of the line quadro, the quadro just ahs a longert geuaranteed lifespan, a different driver, usualy better support (if your card gioes whan its in warranty its no questions asked)

+Some slight feeatures tahta re locked in teh consumer card, tahts optimized for games.

i was actually suprised how expensive the Quadro is, but i'm having so much trouble with my current graphics card, nVidia Geforce 7300. i mean maya crashes like more than 10 times a day. the maya file size is about 20MB. i have high-poly counts and paint fx hair. from hours and hours of troubleshooting, i came to the conclusion that it's all because of the graphics card.

can you recommend any reliable consumer graphics cards?

my system is:
3ghz CPU, Pentium Duo
2GB RAM
win xp (SP2)
dell XPS
geforce 7300 (PCI Express x16)

Yes thats because basiucaly if your a freelancer or a buisness your not paying anything for the card (you get the money back ina few years as taxx refunds) yoru just shufling money areound to spawn more workplaces.
