Maya hangs on taking 'Dynamic Relationships' window

Maya hangs for several minutes when taking Window -> Relationship Editors -> Dynamic Relationships. Y this happens?
Is scene complexity the only reason? Anyway, this pbm occurs for a number of scenes - not a particular one. And de average scene size is 100-180 MB.

I believe that the dynamics relationship editor querys every object in the scene upon opening and for each change you make to a single attribute on a given object it runs thru them again to update...thousands of objects in your scene?
