Hi!
I'm rendering a scene with maya hardware now that you can finaly render particles (maya 2015).
Ofcourse I know I will get a better result using mentalray allthough it takes 5 minutes rather than 12 hours to render and the result is almost as good.
The screen-space ambient occlusion works as it should but not at all for my particle instances. So the occlusion shadow jumps right on top of the instanced objects making it almost useless. Is there any way for the renderer to count the intancer objects as "normal" geometry so that it can apply the occlusion in the correct fashion?
Thanx!
