Maya Help Required!

Members,
I modelled a spaceship with a combination of nurbs and polygonal primitives(using boolean operations). But now when I group all the objects and move it, they come apart. Each part moves different distances even though I had selected them all together. What is the problem.?Please help me.

thanks...

This is happening because you've got some nurbs surfaces created by either curves you have selected too, or an surface itself. This can be fixed two ways.

If you select every nurbs surface and curve separately and go to edit>delete by type>history (if something of the path is wrong I apologize I don't have Maya in front of me and I'm doing this from memory).

Also, I think that if you grab everything and group it together and move the group it'll all stay together. (btw, if you want to select the group again, find it in the outliner cus you'll just grab the individual objects otherwise)

Nurbs connecting to each other make them really smooth but it causes issues like this, so you gotta watch yourself.

Oh and when you delete the history, you won't be able to change it on the curve level, it'll disconnect the two utterly so make sure everything looks the way you want before you do it. (Try the grouping idea first.)
