I'm trying to project graffiti onto a brick wall. I am currently using a camera with image plane and projection utility node. The projection utility node works great and shows the graffiti with the brick normal map. However, the graffiti image is wrapping around the entire object.
I currently have the projection node setup as "perspective" Proj Type. Camera linked to projection node matching resolution. There are multiple objects combined as one, linked to texture and norm maps with UV.
Question:
How do I project the graffiti image onto a specific section on the wall and avoid wrapping the graffiti image around my entire object and avoid projecting the image to the object behind the wall?
What is the best method of connecting my projection node onto a shader with existing texture map? I have it currently hooked up to incandesance, but the area outside the graffiti turns white.
What other methods will allow me to project graffiti image (using planes) onto a textured object and capture the normals?
Attached screenshot shows how the projection is reacting to object.
Thanks in advance.
