MEL Script for alingning bonds

Hi,
I am in need of writing a script for automating alignment of bonds or say cylinders such that they make equal angle with each other. Like lets say i select three cylinder all at same point I want to write a script which can help me in aling the cylinders at 120 degree angle...

Any help and direction will be highly appreciated

120 defree angle? Are theese bonds in 2d only?

Ok i think i know what your looking for. I think your looking for a tool that puts the cylinders in way that is satisfied by the Thomson Porblems solutions , as direction form the geometries center. I think the first 10 is easy to hardcode in.

@ jooja: thanx for replying, no the bonds can be in 3d too, and yes  my problem is similar to thomson problem.
