If I select for exemple 2 edges, I would like to know how I can create a variable who keep the number of my selection.
It's really difficult to explain, but If I select 2 edges I would to to have a variable egal to 2.

Yes you can store variables either in nodes, as globals or as optionvars.

the command size returns the size of variable arrays, so, if you make a variable $sel[] that contains the names of two edges, it's size will be 2.
string $sel[] = ls -sl -fl;
int $size = size $sel;
easy..!
