Mental Ray Issue

Hai All

I need a help . we have maya licence for unlimited but when we trying to render mental ray files in command line or Rush its giving a error ..

Error: (Mayatomr) : could not get a license
mental ray: wallclock 0:00:43.67 total
mental ray: allocated 1 MB, max resident 2 MB

How we can solve this anyone have a idea how we can fix this plz

and while its starting its loading metal ray proper

mental ray for Maya 7.0
mental ray: version 3.4.5.2, 06 July 2005

how i can solve this issue .. any one a good idea ???

Windows XP Sp2 .

There is a 7.0.1 update avaialbe for free on the autodesk support website.. that might help.

yup i am trying in maya 7.0.1 only ... the same error i am geting in Maya 8 also

Well that would lead me to beleive it might have to do with your system install or hardware.. what cpu's and motherboard are you using?

Are you sure theres not something worng with your lisencg scheme?

Based on the way he asked his question I am under the impression that it works when he is using renderview but yeah I guess there could be a problem with the license install.

we are using IBM IntelliStation Z Pro systems .

and in GUI render i can do it no issue . Single render and Batch Render also doing fine

but when i am trying to do a commandline render that time this licence issue is coming up

or we want to contact autodesk for help ??? .. i dont know whts going wrong

is there any special licence is there for Mentalray . ???
