I've been following the scant details on softimage 2.0 since reveiving my demo disk of 1.5 last month (very good - but quite frustrating not being able to save anything i do with it!)
But i have a big question; With all these new GI renderers (brazil, entropy, arnold, raymax 4.0 etc.) How will the new version of Mentalray stack up against them?
What imrovements does MR3.0 offer over 2.1?
Ive tried looking everywhere and havent managed to find any details at all.
Softimage gave a little demo of MR3.0 at siggraph user meeting, but so far i can say is, it just kick ass. There's lot's of improvements and new feature for MR3.0 they didn't mention the new feature I guess because their not done yet, so just keep your eye open and u'll see
