Hi There, does anyone know how Maya treats a file node with its filtering set to MIPMAP, when it has a non MIPMAP conformant texture loaded. e.g. a normal JPEG, BMP with a single full size image.
Obviously if doesn't process as per MIPMAP normally would, otherwise you would get different coloured pixels appear when the MAP level changes..
It seems to work quite well as a general filtering method even without a MIPMAP file loaded.
Does it have 2 processing modes, 1 for a MIPMAP, and one as a fallback when a normal texture is present?
