Hello everyone~
I'm modeling a simple human head by drag some tag point on a sphere. I've try using nurbs sphere and polygon sphere, but the results are somethings difference~ by using nurbs, the parts such as nose, eye-socket are easily become smooth and like-the-real-shape even the head mesh are not high; by using polygon, these parts are hardly get smooth even the mesh are high, these parts are always appear "sharp", with "square mesh inside" which make the head seems not real~ why would this happen? does any method can the polygon head can as smooth as the nurbs head? and in modelling, which kind of objects are better in use with nurbs, and which are better in use with polygon? if use a 3d scanner to scan out the shape of a human head, will this head appear as a nurbs or polygon in the computer?
So many questions, please give me some advices~ Thanks~
