I've tried to dig up a decent tutorial for this, as well as mess around in 3ds Max unguided, but it was useless. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add bones to any of my models. If anyone knows how and is willing to talk me through, or show me a tutorial/guide that adds basic bones to a model, I can figure out how to apply what I need to my own models, but I would really like a nudge in the right direction.
Thanks,

If you are wanting to add bones to a biped like creature then use the Character Studio plugin that comes with 3dsmax. Click on "systems" on the toolbar to the right of the screen, then click on biped, that is the character studio plugin. Biped is involved, so just search for biped in the online reference that comes with max, or search for a tutorial on google. I know that 3dcafe.com had some tutorials on biped, there's probably some here too.
