Model disappears at subdee level 2

For some reason my model has suddenly started disappearing at when I press the '+'key two times.
At 0 and 1 there are no problems.
Any ideas?

Actually it isn't the entire model that disappears..
My model has 4 materials - three of them stays, but the last one disappears, and now I've discovered that it's not only at subdee level 2. It also happens on certain frames at subdee level 1.
I hope someone has an idea.

Well, turned out it was displacement mapping that made my model disappear.
Guess I should know better than to use displacement mapping with Mental Ray. It is, after all, a new renderer that you shouldn't expect too much from.
