Monster Head (2)

Here is something I did last Sunday... I took plenty of screen grabs while I made it so that I can write a tutorial when I get some free time. Hope you like it.

looks like clean modeling and good design. Maybe some detail in the upper lip area would help keep it consistant , its alittle smooth.

I worked on him a little this mornin' to add in some of the primary wrinkles (the deeper ones that drastically change the shape). I still need to add a little more to the lower lips, forhead and cheeks (I only had an hour this mornin'). Then I'll go through and add in the secondary ones for finer detail.
I've posted what I've done so far on my site if you want to check it out.

wow that makes him look ALOT more evil. and cool btw.

really like where you are taken this guy Dragon. Good job. Looks like solid modeling as sithos said. I would like to see more of a skeletal skull jaw structure in the head and especially the jaw area where it lies beneath the ear. Get a good, almost sick sense of bone maybe. Just a solid head of muscle and bone. Almost the type of creature I would like to see some kind of veins just under the surface of the skin, or being able to see the divisions in the skull structure, through the skin. The nose and brow lines rock. Nice work.

Thanx for the crits guys. I'm working on him a little each day in my spare time (unfortunately that only comes out to about an hour a day). So, I'll work on him some more over the weekend and post the results on Monday.
Thanx,
