Im not talking about the default motion blur where you just click the button to add motion blur to motion paths in AFX. Im talking about rendering out an animation in Maya in seperate passes and then adding them together in AFX to create the motion blur in there. I know Maya's default motion blur is time consuming and I want a little more control.
But the problem is I never did this in AFX before. Any tuts I find all deal with shutter angles, etc. But I do remember reading somwhere that you use a Luminance pass, but I cannot remember where I found that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
(the motion blur is primarily character movements, and I will have the character rendered out in its own pass)
